IBS is not about allergies; it is about hypersensitivities and intolerances. This means that, whilst you might experience a lot of very unwanted symptoms following excessive FODMAP ingestion, none of the ingredients will actually cause an allergic reaction unless you also have an allergy. As such, I am not further restricting my recipes by making them allergen-free, but they are always adaptable if you do have any allergies. I can’t currently claim that any of the food made in my own little kitchen is entirely allergen-free - my lucky husband doesn’t have IBS so I even have wheat flour in the house.
If you have an egg allergy, it may be that you’re already well versed in alternatives like mixing flax seeds with water, and so on - feel free to make substitutions like these in your own interpretations of my recipes.
